This artwork, originally a life drawing of a sleeping woman, has been rendered into a stain-glass window-like wall piece. Artist statement as follows:
The dream state. A metaphysical place of being, where we may exist in several timelines at once. Relationships with lost loved ones, broken friendships and ex-lovers continue to develop within this abstracted and lawless land of dreaming. These fabricated connections are so vivid, so powerful, they sublimate into the dreamer’s emotions and social behaviours. The ethereal drops its anchor into waking life and becomes an actualised reality.
In the only way I know...ghosts can truly exist.
